Dr. Rodger G. Holland

Associate Professor of Accounting

Faculty/Staff Headshots 2011

Although new to Nicholls State University, Dr. Holland
is not new to Louisiana.  He taught at Louisiana State University
(Baton Rouge) from 1990 to 1994 before moving to Georgia.
While both he and his wife are happy to return to Louisiana,
he is worried that he may find the 25% weight he lost after
leaving Louisiana’s cuisine.

Dr. Holland began his professional teaching career in
1981 at Florida State University before moving to LSU
in 1990.  He taught at other regional
universities in Georgia and South Carolina before moving
to Nicholls State in 2011.  Due to prior experiences, he is
relieved that the Colonels do play the Tide, to which he
remains true, even though both his father and daughter are
Auburn alums.
