Sinclair Crenshaw
Visiting Instructor of Accounting
Sinclair Crenshaw enjoys relating his personal experiences to accounting students and giving them a realistic perception of their future career field. Crenshaw has brought his 24 years of work experience into Nicholls State University classrooms since 2005.
“I am a non-academic but greatly respect academia,” Crenshaw, who has experience in corporate finance and accounting, says. Crenshaw is a Certified Public Accountant, has a law degree from Louisiana State University and has experience in regulatory, corporate and contract law.
Before entering academia, Crenshaw worked as the controller and financial vice president of a local telecommunications company. He also served as the chairman of the board of The Chamber of Lafourche and the Bayou Region. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
In his spare time, Crenshaw enjoys fishing and golfing.
