Cross Enrollment with Fletcher

For Fletcher students coming to Nicholls:

Before you Apply:

  1. Before applying to Nicholls State University for cross enrollment, go to www.nicholls.edu/register and select ‘Course Schedule via Banner Self-Service’
  2. Select ‘Class Schedule’ from the list that appears
  3. Select the term for which you are wishing to enroll
  4. Search for the course that you are interested in cross enrolling with Nicholls.  You will need the five digit course number associated with the section.For example: Intro to Financial Accounting – 80005 – Acct 205 – 1M.  You will need to know Acct 205 – 1M – 80005 for your application.If the course is closed, you will not be able to register for this course.  Nicholls State University will no longer be automatically dropping students for non-fee payment.
  5. If the course that you want to register in is available, proceed to ‘Applying’ below.

Applying

  1. Go to www.nicholls.edu/apply.  Click Here to Apply.
  2. Click First Time User Account Creation
  3. Create your Login ID and PIN. NOTE: This is NOT the same as any previous ICAN account you may have had.  You must CREATE THIS ACCOUNT.  This is not your SSN or Birthday.
  4. Click Login
  5. Select From the Application Type Menu: ‘CROSS ENROLL FROM FLETCHER’
  6. Click Continue
  7. Proceed to complete the application.  Once you are done with the application (all parts) you must click, ‘Application is Complete’

Registering

  1. We will process your application and verify with Fletcher eligibility for the courses for which you wish to be enrolled.
  2. We will communicate with you solely by email, so be sure to check your email account frequently.
  3. It is your responsibility to follow-up and pay all required fees by all posted deadlines.  Deadlines are available online at www.nicholls.edu/calendar.

For Nicholls students going to Fletcher:

Before you Apply:

  1. Before applying to Fletcher Technical Community College, you should contact Fletcher to check availability for courses at Fletcher.  It is the student’s responsibility to know that the courses they choose will transfer to their degree program.  If the student is unsure, he/she must speak to their advisor.
  2. You will need to know the Course Subject, Number, and Course Section Letter for your application.

Applying

  1. Read the instructions regarding Cross Enrollment, available at www.ftcc.edu/crossenrollment
  2. Complete the application for Cross Enrollment at www.ftcc.edu/crossenrollment
  3. Click “Submit” upon completion of the Cross Enrollment Application.

Registering
