Nicholls State University is committed to providing outstanding service to the men and women of the United States National Guard and Reserves who are mobilized, before they are deployed and upon return from duty.
Steps to Re-Enrolling
- You must reapply for admission. Upon presenting the Office of Admissions a copy of your orders or your DD214, the $20 application fee will be waived. We will process your application immediately if registration is occurring. As per the Board of Regents and National Guard Policy Section II 8.2, we will make every possible effort to place you back into your academic studies track as close as possible to the same place you occupied when mobilized/activated.
- You should make arrangements to visit with Casie Triche in the Office of Financial Aid. She will be happy to explain your benefits and discuss your financial aid package with you.
- Wanda Porche in the Office of Records and Registration will be your Veteran’s Affairs liason.
