A special Orientation for veterans only will be held before the opening of the Fall semester. At this program, veterans and members of the military will receive instruction on the use of campus technologies, as well as receive log in and password information in order to comply with university policy. We will also attempt to bring in a guest speaker to answer questions about programs and services available through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Students will also be able to secure Colonel Cards and parking decals through a expedited, no line process. Campus tours will be available as will information on campus living and dining opportunities.
This special orientation was the idea of a former student and veteran of the United States Marine Corps, who is now successfully employed in the private sector.
