Our programs can prepare you for a variety of health care fields that will allow you to change the lives of others by:

  • detecting cancer early enough for a patient to seek treatment,
  • helping a stroke patient learn to speak again,
  • counseling a diabetic patient on how to adjust his daily diet,
  • providing oxygen to patient who has just been in a serious accident and
  • arranging a rehabilitation program to help an athlete to recover from an injury.

The Department of Allied Health Sciences is an interdisciplinary group of educational programs offering opportunities from entry-level undergraduate education to advanced educational and clinical practice options for health care professionals. The department uses innovative on-campus and online components to achieve its mission of preparing professionals for today’s health care market.
