Reduction in Academic Programs and Concentrations
The Department of Allied Health Sciences would like to announce a reduction in programs of study offered. Effective with the 2009-2010 academic year, the following programs have been targeted for elimination:
BS degree in Health Science:
- Advanced Cardiopulmonary Care Concentration
- Cardiovascular Technology Concentration
- Cytotechnology Concentration
- Wellness and Sports Science Concentration
Post-baccalaureate
Students who are interested in these programs / concentrations are asked to contact the Department of Allied Health Sciences at 985-493-2624 to meet with an advisor to discuss appropriate academic options. Our faculty members continue to serve as an excellent resource for career options.
