| Phyllis Lear
Phyllis Lear was born in Lafayette, La., and received a B.A. in art and industrial arts education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She went on to earn an M.A. in studio from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and an M.A. in art history from Louisiana State University. She then earned an M.F.A. in studio from Louisiana Tech University. Lear owns and operates a studio business in Thibodaux where she teaches private lessons and creates personal and commissioned works of art. Lear’s collage pieces have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States. Her work is represented by Lagerquist Gallery in Atlanta, Ga. |
