The combined degree program allows students to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. These students enroll in a broad range of studio courses, complete 12 hours of art history and also must fulfill teacher education courses and requirements through the College of Education.
If you are a registered art student, you should take the following courses as they are required for further art classes: ART 201—Beginning Drawing and ART 251—Beginning Design. After completion of ART 251—Beginning Design, students must enroll in ART 252—Color Design the following semester. ART 252—Color Design should be completed before taking any 300-level art courses.
