The Department of Art is home to a comprehensive papermaking facility that includes:

• Hollander beater
• 30-ton press
• vacuum table
• pulp sprayer
• Two Santa Anna Dryers

Printmaking also enjoys a close relationship to graphic design, with projects designed to support the graphic design curriculum. The programs share two large format Epson 7900 and 9600 printers and have letterpress equipment that supports the interests of both fine artists and designers. We also support design students who want to explore materials and surfaces that digital media cannot provide.
