Registration Procedure

Student athletes are to register during specific registration dates that vary each semester. These dates are usually two weeks before the university’s assigned advising dates. The following procedures are to be adhered to in order to facilitate the registration process:

  • All student athletes will be advised by their respective faculty athletic advisors. Student-athletes are responsible for scheduling appointments to be advised.
  • Student-athletes will meet with faculty athletic advisors to discuss a tentative class schedule. The faculty athletic advisor will indicate degree requirements for courses listed and sign registration schedule forms.
  • The registration schedule form is due to the Office of Athletic Academic Services office no later than the specified deadline.
  • Classes will be scheduled in the Office of Athletic Academic Services once registration schedule forms are received from student athletes. Student athletes can review and print their schedule for the upcoming semester using the ICAN system.
  • Conflicts with a schedule can be discussed with a staff member of the Office of Athletic Academic Services after the registration period has ended. However, schedule changes will only be made with permission and documentation from the student athlete’s assigned academic advisor.
