I have one question. If politicians don&#039;t want to kill incentives to generate wealth, then why does Obama want to raise the capital gains tax? Evidence I have found from research (albeit minimal research) shows that tax revenues increase with low tax rates. 

Does it make sense for him to raise the tax rates on capital gains because it&#039;s popular with John Q. Public?</description>
