I agree totally with this article. I feel to believe that the Kash for Klunkers really is geared to hurting the poor or hurting those who are not high on the economic earning pyramid, under the disguise of helping them to save money on gas. While it is true that the newer models are more gas efficient, meaning they are able to recieve more mileage per gallon, does not mean they are saving money. In fact it seem that more folks are driving, which means more gas is being brought, which in turn leads to more gas beinf used. But it also raises the very serious question of where are we going to get the supply of gas needed to meet this new demand? Does the government have some unknown, untapped, and unlimited supply of gas on hand or does it suspect to have be able to form some amazingly quick peaceful relations with the Middle East?
