Center for Traditional Louisiana Boat Building

Founded in 1979, the Center for Traditional Louisiana Boat Building is located on the grounds of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The Center does research regarding wooden boat building throughout South Louisiana. At present, all materials such as photographs, slides, oral history tapes and artifacts are housed in the library on the Nicholls campus. Joseph T.
