The Creole Rowing Skiff

It is the smallest and lightest of the skiffs. It is used on small interior bodies of water, and distinguished by its narrow beam. It has a considerably sheer and high, slightly overhanging V-shaped stem, and a special rowing device called a "Joug" which is the cross piece and extension for the oars. Length 15 - 16 feet.
