The series connects business and community leaders with college faculty members and students to discuss and promote management excellence. The support of JPMorgan Chase helps recruit nationally recognized experts to provide contemporary ideas for best practices in management.

2008 Program

The 2008 program will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at Envie Restaurant, Hwy. 308, Thibodaux. The $25 registration fee includes lunch and should be sent with the registration form to the College of Business Administration by Friday, Oct. 31. The form is available on the back of the brochure linked below.

The Fall 2008 speaker is William Beach, Director of the Heritage Foundation’s Center for Data Analysis. Beach will provide an insider’s view on how pending energy legislation such as climate change and CO2 reduction policies, as well as efforts by the US government to expand domestic energy supplies, will impact the Louisiana economy.  Beach regularly appears before Congress and major news channels providing potential costs and benefits analysis of proposed legislation.
