      Description: "Resolved, that the federal minimum wage should be raised to $10.10/hr." Two students will be chosen to debate the resolution from tryouts to be held on the afternoons of Feb. 24-26. Sign-up sheets for tryouts are posted at Talbot Hall office suite 101, and students are encouraged to come by and add their names to the list. Those who would audition should take a position either for or against the resolution, do some preliminary research, prepare a rough draft speech outline with 2-3 points supporting their position, and present a tryout speech of 2-4 minutes to the speech faculty. The chosen speakers will then work with speech faculty members over the next few weeks to develop and rehearse their speeches.
