The university awards five degrees from this department: the Bachelor of Arts in Government, History, or Sociology, and the Associate of Science in Criminal Justice or Legal Assistant Studies. A student earning one of these degrees must meet the minimum requirements for graduation from the College of Arts and Sciences in addition to the specific requirements listed below for each degree program. The department also offers a two-year program in Geography. A grade of C or better is required in all major and minor courses.
