Computer Science Program
The university awards the degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in computer science to the student who satisfies these requirements:
- Completion of the computer science curriculum.
- Completion of the requirements for a minor as recommended by the minor department.
- Grade of C or better in each required computer science and mathematics course.
- The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree program at Nicholls is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (CAC/ABET).
Computer Science Minor
A minor consists of CMPS 120, 220, 221, 222, 350, and 6 additional hours to be selected from any 300- or 400 level computer science course that counts for credit toward the major in computer science. A grade of C or better is required in each computer science course.
