Cheerleader Requirements

Cheerleading Skill Requirements:

  1. Must have a standing back handspring and toe touch back handspring. (Girls)
  2. Must have a running roundoff back handspring. (Girls)
  3. Must have a solid hands press to extension. 

 

Cheerleader Expectations:

  1. Must be enrolled as a full time student at Nicholls State University.Maintain a 2.5 grade point average every semester.
  1. Attend all practices, games and other scheduled events.
  2. Follow all Guidelines as detailed in the Nicholls Cheerleading Rules and Regulations.
  3. A Physical must be completed prior to first practice.
  4. Participate in fundraising activities to support the program.
