Creative Scholars Camp
Dates: July 14- 18, 2009
Sponsored by the Louisiana Center for Dyslexia and Related
Learning Disorders, this camp is for students with characteristics of dyslexia
who are interested in improving their reading comprehension, writing and
math skills. Although this is a day camp, an overnight option is available
for an additional fee. Parents must submit proper medical forms two weeks
prior to camp check-in. Space is limited, and registrations will be accepted
on first-come, first-serve basis. Participants must provide evidence that
they have been identified by their schools as having characteristics of
dyslexia. A $25 application fee is due by 4:30 pm on Friday, June 19 (non-refundable
once acceptance is granted). Registration forms and additional information

Ages: Youth entering 5th- to 9th-grade (not older than 16-years-old)
Time: 8:30 am to 5 pm
Location: Max Charter School Building
Fee: $225 for day camp and $395 for overnight camp; final payment is due
by 4:30 pm on Wednesday, July 1
