It's easy to register:

Please note: Anyone who has not registered prior to the first class meeting cannot be assured of a space in a course. If you are interested in a course and the deadline date has passed, please call (985) 448-4534 to inquire if there may still be space for you.

Registration Policy

Registration may be done in person, by mail, by fax, or online at our website. The registration deadline for each course is one week prior to the course begin date. Registrations made after the registration deadline will be considered late and will be subject to an additional $5 fee.

Tuition/Payment of Fees

Fees for non-credit courses are listed in each course description. Tuition is to be paid in advance before the course begin date. Payment received after the registration deadline will be subject to the $5 late registration fee.

Payments can be made in the form of cash, check, money order, or credit card. (Make checks and money orders payable to Nicholls State University)

Refund Policy

Canceled Registration: A refund of 100 percent of the registration fee (less a $5 processing fee) will be made if the Office of Continuing Education is notified before the registration deadline. The registration deadline for each course is one week prior to the course begin date. No refund will be made after the registration deadline. Refunds may take four weeks to process.

Canceled Course: The University reserves the right to cancel any non-credit course in which there is not sufficient enrollment. In the event that a course is cancelled or closed, a full refund will be issued or an opportunity to transfer to another course will be extended.

Bad Weather or Emergency

The Office of Continuing Education abides by the policy of the University; therefore, non-credit classes will not be canceled unless other University classes are cancelled. The only exception to this policy is if the instructor informs his or her students that he or she will not be present at a given class meeting. The instructor is then responsible for arranging a make-up class.

Parking Permits

Visitor parking permits are required for Continuing Education courses. Visitor parking permits for are available through the Office of Continuing Education and should be mailed with the registration confirmation.
