The Colonel Card is the official Nicholls State University identification card for students, faculty, staff and affiliates. It is also a meal card, a library card, an activities and events card, and a debit card. Once the card is issued, it remains active as long as a student is enrolled at NSU. Carry it with you at all times. The two declining balance accounts associated with your Colonel Card are Colonel Ca$h and Munch Money.
Colonel Ca$h works like a credit card in reverse. Depending on your needs, you deposit an amount of money into your account. Every time you make a purchase, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your account. Your remaining balance will be displayed to let you know how much you have left in your account. Munch Money is a declining balance account tied to your meal plan.
Colonel Ca$h is automatically activated when your Colonel Card is created. There is no need to fill out forms to open an account. You may deposit money to it at anytime. Depositing funds into your Colonel Ca$h account indicates full agreement with the Colonel Card Terms and Conditions. Colonel Ca$h rolls over from one semester to the next. This account is refundable upon graduation, official withdrawal, or when a cardholder severs their relationship with the university. View our links on the left sidebar to learn where to make deposits. Several locations on campus and off campus accept Colonel Ca$h.
