Sue Gremillion
Assistant Professor and Clinical Supervisor of Communicative Disorders
Sue Gremillion teaches communicative disorders courses concerned with the introduction to the field of speech-language pathology and audiology, articulation and phonological disorders, diagnostics in the field of speech-language pathology, and speech-language pathology and audiology methods. She also serves as a clinical supervisor for speech and language therapy services provided by communicative disorders majors.
Gremillion has experience working with children and adults in the areas of articulation, language, voice fluency and augmentative communication. She has worked in several settings during her career, including a residential state school, a public school, home health and group homes for cognitively impaired adults. She has also provided in-patient and out-patient hospital rehabilitation services for a limited time.
Gremillion is a member of the Louisiana Governing Board of the Friends of the Edward Douglas Historic Site and a member of the Friends of the Edward Douglas White Historic Site. She especially enjoys time spent with her family and friends. Her hobbies include reading, sewing and needlework.
