Director and Assistant Professor of Communicative Disorders

Lynne Bourgeois began teaching and supervising clinicals in the Nicholls communicative disorders program in 1992. Prior to her work with communicative disorders students, she served as a speech and language pathologist for the Lafourche Parish School Board, where she coordinated, observed and advised the parish’s speech-language-hearing specialists and teachers of the hearing impaired. Bourgeois has also worked with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and home health agencies through her private practice.
