Welcome to the Nicholls State University College of Nursing and Allied Health Continuing Education and Faculty Development website.
On behalf of the Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Committee and the entire College of Nursing and Allied Health, I would like to thank you for your continuing support of the valuable activities that we offer.
The Continuing Nursing Education Program follows the mission of the university in providing excellent activities to meet the needs of diverse, culturally rich healthcare professionals in a dynamic healthcare market. The 2007-2008 CNE Activity Calendar addresses a wide array of educational topics to meet the professional needs of nurses in our service area. This is an exciting year packed with nationally and locally known experts in their fields of practice.
The CNE Program completed a self-study report and onsite visit in May 2007 to reaffirm accreditation, and we are awaiting the decision of the American Nurses Credentialling Center Comission on Accreditation. Thanks to all who participated in the accreditation review process. We appreciate your input!
