Academic Enrichment Program

Dates: June 3- July 19, 2013 (Monday – Friday)

The College of Education and the Office of Continuing Education will provide enrichment classes for children entering kindergarten/first grade and for those being promoted to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th grade. Don’t miss out on summer enrichment for your child. This program encourages learning in a creative environment and focuses on science, social studies, language arts, mathematics, art and physical education. There will be no promotions or failures, and no grades will be given. Energetic Nicholls education majors will utilize these classes for observation and participation activities under the direction of their supervising instructors. This camp will meet five days a week for SEVEN weeks; EXCEPT for the week of July 4. That week the camp is only meeting July 1, 2, 3.

 

Applications will be accepted on a First-Come Basis!!!

A mandatory parent orientation will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 in Peltier Auditorium. Summer Options Program, transportation, drop-off, and pick-up issues, as well as rules and regulations, will be discussed at the orientation.

Ages: Youth entering kindergarten through seventh grades.
Time: 8:30 – 11:50 a.m.
Fee: $310 Payment in full must be made by May 20, 2013

Registration deadline:  May 20, 2013

**NOTE: WHEN REGISTERING, REGISTER THE CHILD’S NAME NOT THE GUARDIAN. IF YOU ARE REGISTERING MORE THAN ONE CHILD, REGISTER EACH CHILD SEPARATELY UNDER HIS OR HER OWN REGISTRATION.  

2ND AND 4TH GRADES ARE NOW OPERATING ON A WAITING LIST, HOWEVER STILL CONTINUE TO REGISTER, THERE IS STILL A POSSIBILITY FOR YOUR CHILD TO GET INTO THE CLASSES.
