Our Services

Services Provided include:
(All services are confidential and free of charge to enrolled students, faculty and staff members.)

Individual Counseling
You will meet one-to-one with a counselor for a 45-minute session to address your personal or career issues.

Group Counseling
You meet with a counselor and approximately five to 10 other clients who are experiencing issues similar to yours.

Couples Counseling
You and your partner, spouse, significant other, etc. meet with a counselor to address relationship issues.

Workshops/Presentations
These are provided to the general Nicholls State University community and by request to classes, residence halls and department/organization meetings on a variety of topics.

Consultation
Consultations are provided to faculty, staff and students regarding a particular mental health issue or regarding an individual about whom they may be concerned.

Screenings
The UCC provides eating disorder, depression, anxiety disorder and anger screenings to the Nicholls community by request to individuals or groups.

Written/Audio/Video Resources
Numerous resources addressing various mental health topics are provided to the Nicholls community.
