On the very hot day of October 21, 2004, the College Republicans of Nicholls State University spent the
evening out Tailgating at the NSU vs. Northwestern football
game. We were there to hand out material for the campaigns
of President
Bush, David Vitter, and Billy Tauzin
III . Also spending the evening tailgating was the
Billy Tauzin III campaign and the Victory 04 campaign. CRNSU had
five members who
came out and spent the evening helping the campaigns.
This event was a lot of fun for everyone involved and was quite
successful. We gave out hundreds of fans as well as
countless stickers, bumper stickers, yard sings, and
informational handouts. We can only hope that our future
events are just as successful.
