CRNSU Announcements

• The next meeting of the College Republicans of Nicholls State University is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 1:00 pm in the Bowie Room of the student Union.

• There will be crab trap pickup on Saturday, March 12, 2005.  If you are interested in helping, please email Adam Rouillier.

• President Bush will be in Shreveport on Friday, March 11, 2005.

• We will have a  new position.  This position is the Public Relations Officer.  If you are interested in this position, Please email a resume to crnsu@yahoo.com.

• We will have a recruitment table in the lobby of the Student Union on Thursday, January 27, 2005.  This will start at 8:00 am and last until the afternoon.

• The first meeting of the College Republicans of Nicholls State University is scheduled for Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 1:15 pm in the Bowie Room of the student Union.

• At the first official meeting of the College Republicans of Nicholls State University, Officers will be reelected.

• Welcome to CRNSU in 2005.  We are strong and here for the long haul.

• Vice President Dick Cheney will be in Houma on Wednesday, December 1, 2004.   The tickets for the event are free, the information is below

  Where:	Houma Civic Center 346 Civic Center Blvd. (Corner of Hwy 311 and Barrow St.)
  When:	Wednesday, December 1, 2004
  Time:	Doors open at 9:30 Event Begins at 11:15
  Ticket Locations:	Thibodaux - 701 B West 3rd St. LaPlace - 425 Airline Hwy. Chalmette - 1116 W Judge Perez Hwy.

• The next CRNSU meeting will be on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 1:30 pm.

• We are actively seeking funding from a number of sources so that we can bring speakers such as Ann Coulter to campus.

• The Treasurer spot and the Finance Chairman have been combined into one.  It is important to remember that the next time this office is elected, you will be electing one in the same.

• The Constitution has been amended to deal with officers who do not participate in the organization.  Article III, Section 6 has been add.  If you are interested in the the wording of this addition of the constitution, please go to Club Info.

• We have a contingency plan for the Spring semester.

  • School begins on Tuesday, January 18, 2004.  Flyers will be posted and member are to spread the word that there will be an reorganization election and meeting to start the semester off.

  • The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2004 (time undecided.)

  • The following Thursday, Members will have a table in the student union for recruitment.

• Meetings during the Spring 2005 semester will alternate between two different days to be determined at a later date.

• We are planning a party for around Mardi Gras.  This party will only be open to Active members and their partners.

• We plan to make a t-shirt for members in the Spring 2005 Semester

• An organization photographer will be appointed by the president in the Spring 2005 Semester.
