Campaign Opportunities

  This portions of the site is where you can find out more about volunteering to help at election sites, rallies, campaign stops, and other republican campaign opportunities.

 

Opportunity 1

•   Even though we do not have an election every year, it does not mean you do not have too persuade people into registering to vote.  The choice we make in any election will determine the way we live our life.  Help your country make a decision together and not by just a few.  Here are four easy ways to help the campaign.   1.   Make sure you are registered to vote.  Each state has their own deadline for voter registration. In Louisiana, statutes require you to be registered 30 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote in that particular election.  Are you registered for future elections?  Be sure.  Your vote could make the difference in any election.  Please take a moment, to complete or update your voter registration at http://www.iwanttovote.com/.  It only takes a moment.

      

  2.   Make sure your family members are registered to vote.  If anyone in your family is not registered to vote, e-mail them a note and encourage them to register or update their information.  You can even send them to http://www.iwanttovote.com/.

      

  3.   Think creatively about other people who may not be registered.  Do you have a Christmas card list?  Or sing in a church choir?  Are you a member of a Veterans group?  What about the other parents on your child's soccer team?  Have you touched base with your old friends from school lately?  Odds are a lot of those people are not registered to vote, but they may support the Republican party.  In the words of the phone company, "reach out and touch someone."  Send them a link to this voter registration site.  Get them registered and turn them out.

      

  4.   Make sure your friends know the best way to help.  Send as many people as you know to this message or to everyone you know who may want to help our voter registration campaign.  If everyone who receives this message registers a few voters and passes the message on, we'll have the votes we need to win.
