Minor in Culinary Arts

Eighteen hours of course work, with a minimum grade of “C” in each course, is required for a minor in Culinary Arts.  A student must complete:

  • CULA 101 – Culinary History and Development
  • CULA 105 – Sanitation and Food Safety
  • CULA 111 – Culinary Foundations
  • CULA 221 – Fruits, Vegetables and Farinaceous Products
  • DIET 200 – Applied Nutrition

Six additional credit hours selected from the Culinary Arts curriculum (refer to course descriptions for details).
