Chef George Kaslow enjoys contributing to the community by helping educate our culinary students.
“I believe in our mission statement and feel we are carrying it out,” Kaslow says.
 
Chef Kaslow earned his Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, then his Master’s degree in Hotel and Foodservice Management, also from Florida International University. His most interesting endeavor though has been his involvement in the doctoral program at the
University of Southern Mississippi.

“I have an open-door policy and enjoy working with students in such areas as advising, career placement and externship site selection.”

In his spare time, Chef Kaslow enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with his family, which includes a pot-bellied pig named Oingo-Boingo. Chef Kaslow speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys cooking Cuban cuisine.
