Nicholls Catering is committed to contributing to the success of your event — whether it be a elegant dinner for donors, casual awards banquet for students or even a staff meeting with light refreshments.

Planning your event

  • Arrange and reserve a date, even if the date is only tentative. Call 985.448.4514 or send an e-mail to catering@nicholls.edu.
  • If alcohol will be served at the function, seek approval from the provost’s office. Sodexo must file for alcohol permits 10 days before the function.
  • Contact the catering office at least 10 days before the event to discuss all specifics and details, including the function’s:
    • location,
    • number of guests,
    • time and
    • menu selection.
  • Sign and return the Food Service Contract you receive from the catering office.
  • Submit the event confirmation and payment at least three business days before the function.
