rig-4731-12a.jpgThe Nicholls petroleum service program is uniquely designed to cater to professionals working seven-on/seven-off schedules. All coursework is taught on alternating weeks to allow students to attend classes on their days off.

Crew change day on Wednesday is preferable. Students attend petroleum services and safety courses on Thursdays and Tuesdays. On Fridays and Mondays, student attend other required courses, such as English, geology, biology, history and mathematics. Many courses are online or Web-enhanced to provide students virtual classroom opportunities.

Students working on a 14-on/14-off schedule can be accommodated by special arrangement.
