Manufacturing Engineering Technology Scholoarships
Incoming and current manufacturing engineering technology students are eligible for a variety of local, state and national scholarships.
Nicholls offers the following scholarships to manufacturing technology engineering students:
BOURGEOIS EXCELLENCE IN MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP is awarded to a freshman who has earned at least a 2.5 GPA in high school and who plans to major in manufacturing technology. The recipient must be a resident of Lafourche, Terrebonne or St. Mary parishes. The recipient must also be enrolled as a full-time student. The scholarship is valid for four years provided he or she meets all the above criteria and maintains a 2.5 overall GPA.
K & B MACHINE WORKS, INC. SCHOLARSHIP is awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Recipients must be enrolled in the engineering technology program, general studies associate degree program or the general business associate degree program. Recipients must be dependents of employees of K & B Machine Works, Inc.
TEXACO, INC. SCHOLARSHIP is awarded to a full time student having at least a 2.5 grade point average. First priority is given to engineering technology majors.
