“My father, Dr. Russell Galliano, preceded me in teaching in the College of Education for 33 years! Additionally, my great-uncle, Dr. Vernon Galliano, was the President of Nicholls State University from 1962-1982. Having family employed at Nicholls State as I was growing up really inspired me and instilled in me the extreme RESPECT I hold for this university today. I take pride in being known as one of the “Home-Grown” Faculty!!!”

Complete one of the following statements: “My dream job other than teaching at Nicholls would be…” -OR- “My future career aspirations include…”
“Since being an Associate Professor at Nicholls State University IS my dream job and my livelihood, my future career aspirations would have to be geared toward retirement one day. This period of my life would hopefully include working with children and young people in some capacity and at my own pace. Of course, this would include some “me-time” as well!”

Answer one of the following questions: If you were to win the lottery, what would you do with the winnings? -OR- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
“If I were to win the lottery, I would like to develop a program that would involve incorporating live-in pets in nursing home facilities and assisted living homes for the elderly as well as children’s cancer centers. I would also like to develop a finance-free massage therapy program for Hospital ICU patients.

… And of course if I were to win the lottery, I would ensure that my precious family and dear friends would be taken care of completely!”
