Admission Requirements
To be admitted into the Master of Education in School Counseling program at Nicholls, applicants should possess the following:
- A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- A minimum 2.5 GPA on all undergraduate work or 2.75 on the final 60 hours pursued.
- A minimum formula score of 1,100 (GPA on last 60 hours x 200 + GRE score).
- A valid teacher’s certificate or nine hours of approved professional education courses with a grade of C or better, including Exceptional Children, The Teaching of Reading and Introduction to Learning Disabilities.
