Family Day
Celebrate Fete de la Famille!
Nicholls State University invites students, their families and the entire community to its Family Day celebration from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, next to John L. Guidry Stadium.
The festivities include live music by Treater; numerous food booths offering jambalaya, hamburgers, nachos, cotton candy and more; large inflatables; face paintings; and displays and interactive games sponsored by departments and organizations.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to bring their well-mannered pets to Family Day. Visit the University College booth with your favorite furry friend for pet treats and “petty” conversation. All pets must be on a lease or in a kennel.
Family Day participants may purchase reduced-admission tickets to the 2 p.m. Nicholls vs. Texas State football game for $5 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at West Gate 2 and East Gate 1 of the stadium. Food tickets purchased for use at Family Day booths will also be accepted at concession stand inside the stadium.
