French Country Dinner

Support applied sciences students while enjoying French cuisine!

The Department of Applied Sciences will host a fundraising dinner from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute.

The “French Country” themed dinner will be prepared by Jean-Marc Sens, adjunct instructor at the insitute, and will feature French onion soup, fresh garden salad and chicken eleonore. For dessert, Sens will prepare and serve apple clafoutis (a custard-like baked French dessert) with Creole cream cheese ice cream. Complimentary wine will be served.

Tickets are $50 per person. Proceeds from the event will help off-set travel to the annual American Institute of Chemical Engineers conference, enhance department programs and recruiting efforts and increase program-sponsored science competitions. To purchase tickets, call 985.448.4693.
