“Teaching Engaged Learning” Symposium
Learn how to reach today’s students!
CAFE, the Center for Advancement of Faculty Engagement, and Ellender Memorial Library will co-host a symposium, “Teaching Engaged Learning: Understanding Our Students’ World,” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the free, day-long event that will focus on how faculty, by learning about the cultural and societal expectations of today’s students, can better develop strategies for inspiring and motivating students to learn.
Eighteen sessions are planned and include a combination of panel discussions, workshops and presentations.
To pre-register, call Melissa Goldsmith, associate librarian, at 985.448.4626.
Visit the symposium’s Web site for session times, topics, locations and more details.
