Senior Day

See what Nicholls has to offer!

Nicholls State University will host Senior Day at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Student Union.

Senior Day is designed to provide high school seniors with information on the application process, scholarships, academic programs and campus activities. Departmental faculty will be on hand to answer questions about your intended major. Departments and student organizations will also speak with students at the Information Expo, held in front of the Student Union from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Diversity Week

Celebrate the diverse Nicholls community!

Diversity Week activities will begin with a proclamation ceremony at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 5, and conclude on Saturday, Nov. 10, when Nicholls celebrates Family Day.

Fletcher Lecture

Dr. Gerald Early, a nationally recognized essayist and critic of American culture, will be the featured speaker Thursday, Nov. 8, at the annual Fletcher Lecture Series.

The series will consist of a question and answer session with Early at 10:30 a.m. in Le Bijou Theater and his keynote address, “The End of the World as We Know It: War and Social Change,” at 6 p.m. in Talbot Theater. A reception will be held prior to the lecture in the Talbot lobby area. (more…)
