Become a better student leader!

The Nicholls State University Office of Student Life will host the second annual Student Leadership Seminar from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9, in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.

The seminar, “Transforming Leaders … to Infinity and Beyond,” is free and open to all university and area high school student leaders or those aspiring to be student leaders. The event will feature Mari-Ann Callais, a motivational speaker. Students will also be able to attend sessions on a variety of issues. In years past, sessions have been held on advertising and public relations, alcohol use, conflict resolution, event and activity planning, ethical leadership, fundraising, membership recruitment and Web site development.
