Become involved in campus activities!

The Get Connected campaign, which will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, and Wednesday, Jan. 23, will allow students to learn more about campus organizations and become members.

Visit the Student Union to find an organization that fits your interests!

Martin Luther King Tribute

Commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday!

A video presentation will be aired in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union lobby from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Students will also have the opportunity to sign up to participate in community service projects during the Martin Luther King weekend and beyond.

The university will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Nicholls Players Variety Show

The Nicholls Players, the university acting troupe, will present “Fun! A Night of Monologues, Music and Short Plays,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, and Saturday, Jan. 19, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, in Talbot Theater.

This student-led production will include selections from “Saturday Night Live,” “Spamalot” and “Rent.” Admission is $5. The event is suggested for mature audiences.
