Learn about the historic buildings of Lafourche Parish!

The Lafourche Heritage Society will host a presentation on local historic homes and buildings at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, in the Multipurpose Room of Ellender Memorial Library. A reception will follow. The event is free and open to the public.

The Historic Lafourche presentation is part of Jubilee: A Festival of the Arts and Humanities.

Celebrate Women’s History Month through art!

Art senior Jessica Durocher will present “Prescription Rituals: A Sculptural Biography” at 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, in 210 Talbot Hall.

Durocher’s artwork represents a sculptural biography of a woman who begins as an everyday person but transforms into an immortal goddess.
