I AM Worth It! Weight Loss Program

Get healthy with the Nicholls community’s help!

The Office of Wellness Education will kick off “I AM Worth It,” a healthy lifestyle change program at noon Wednesday, March 12, in Peltier Auditorium.

The program, which is open to Nicholls students, faculty and staff, will offer nutritional, fitness, behavioral, emotional and peer support for those looking to lose weight, get fit or develop healthier habits. Registration forms are available on the Wellness Education Web site.

Culinary Career Fair

Meet your future employer!

Nicholls Career Services will host its annual Culinary Career Fair from 9 a.m to noon, Thursday, March 6, in the Student Union Ballroom.

Employers from many well-known restaurants, hotels and catering facilities will spend the day on campus, recruiting John Folse Culinary students for externships, as well as post graduation positions.

Career Services recommends that participating students dress professionally and have copies of their resume available to participating employers.

For resources on creating a resume, preparing for career fairs and landing a job after graduation, visit the Career Services Web site.
