Softball and Baseball vs. Southern University

Two teams … one night of Colonel competition!

Both the Nicholls softball and baseball team will host Southern University on Wednesday, April 9.

The first pitch of the softball game will be at 5 p.m. with the baseball game beginning at 6:30 p.m.

GameTracker will be made available for the two contests for fans who want to follow the game live statistically on the Internet at www.geauxcolonels.com. Students are reminded that game admission is free with their Colonel Card.

International Block Party

Experience different cultures!

The Nicholls International Community, Asian Culture Club and Student Programming Association will host an international block party from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in front of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union. Come join us for henna tattoos, Caribbean hair braiding, international music, pinatas, wasabi tasting, a food sale and a dessert competition.

Colonels Kick Butts Kick Ball Tournament

Support healthy lifestyles!

Teams of students, faculty and staff will compete in the Colonels Kick Butts Kick Ball Tournament beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, on the St. Thomas Aquinas field.

All are encouraged to attend the smoke-free event, sponsored by a grant from the Louisiana Coalition for Tobacco-Free Living and Nicholls Student Educators and Leaders.

Blue Bayou Big Band Concert

The Nicholls Blue Bayou Big Band will perform under the direction of Cristina Mendoza, instructor of music, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in Talbot Theater.

The concert is part of Jubilee: A Festival of the Arts and Humanities.
