Experience cultural diversity!

Nicholls will host diverse music and poetry presentations on Wednesday, April 16, during its International Day.

Teachers and students from the Lafourche Parish School System will perform live African drumming and dances from 9:40 to 10:35 a.m. on the Talbot Hall portico. Nicholls teacher education students and faculty will participate.

The day will continue with poetry readings at 9:40 a.m. in 227 Beauregard Hall and at 6 p.m. in Ellender Room of Ellender Memorial Library. Dr. Phanuel Egejuru, professor emeritus at Loyola University, will share her poetic creations during the morning session. (more…)

Reconnect with your Nicholls classmates!

The Nicholls Alumni Federation will host its annual meeting and crawfish boil on Saturday, April 12, in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.

The business meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., with crawfish being served at 7 p.m. The evening will include live music from “Soul Survivors” and a cash bar. Tickets are $20 in advance for dues-paying alumni and friends of the university; $30 at the door. Non-dues paying alumni and friends can purchase tickets for $30 in advance or $35 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance, call 985.448.4111 or drop by the Office of Alumni Affairs.
