Culinary Day

Learn how to prepare your favorite dishes!

The John Folse Culinary Institute will present a day of informative culinary demonstrations on Friday, April 18, in 408 Gouaux Hall. Call 985.449.7114 to reserve your spot.

  • 10 to 11 a.m. — Principles of Making Cream Soups” with Chef Randy Cheramie, associate dean of The John Folse Culinary Institute.
  • Noon to 1 p.m. — “Seafood Paella Party” with Chef George Kaslow, assistant professor of culinary arts.
  • 2 to 3 p.m. — “FlambĂ© Cooking” with Chef Don Kasten, lecturer of culinary arts.
  • 3 to 4 p.m. — “Sweet Tarts” with Chef John Kozar, instructor of culinary arts.

Culinary Day is part of Jubilee: A Festival of the Arts and Humanities.
