Crawfish Day

Don’t miss the event of the semester!

The Student Programming Association invites students, faculty and staff to Crawfish Day from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 17, on the west side of Guidry Stadium. All faculty, staff and students enrolled in seven or more hours of coursework will be admitted free with a Colonel ID card. Students with less than seven hours may participate for $3.

The annual event will include free crawfish or a burger and hot dog; frozen dessert, co-sponsored by the SGA; and a Price is Right game, co-sponsored by the NAACP. Crawfish Day will also feature DJ Quin and water and photo novelties.

String Program Recital

Experience the new Nicholls string program!

The Nicholls string program will present an end-of-semester recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in Talbot Theater. Admission is free, and the public is invited to hear the students perform works by St. Saens, Vitali, Sarasate, Schubert, Prokofiev and Kreisler. The program, currently in its first year of existence, has students from as far as Brazil and Romania.
